December 2012

Kelly Kilfoil has been hitting it hard since May of 2012 and there seems to be no end in sight. A natural athlete and competitor, Kelly takes her training serious. After only several months of training, Kelly won an all woman’s CrossFit event and is excited to compete in the near future at the Oregon Winter Games.

Kelly continues to work on skills like T2B and pull ups along with Oly lifting. She is not afraid to do the work. As a coach it is fun to train someone like Kelly who gives their all every day and is always smiling when they do it. Kelly is always positive and encouraging and fun to train with. We look forward to watching Kelly grow as a Crossfitter and overall athlete.

Keep up the good work!!

Beaverton CrossFit has reignited my love of fitness.  I felt myself getting bored with my workout routine and not seeing any results, so I started coming to BCF in May.  Initially I was a little intimated by all the weights and my lack of understanding of the CrossFit philosophy.  However, once I started coming regularly and recognizing the incredible benefits of CrossFit I was hooked!  Even though I have worked out all my life, I don’t think I have ever felt the way I feel after a CrossFit workout.  It is exhilarating to push yourself harder than you ever thought you could.

The thing about BCF is that it isn’t just the workouts that I love – it is all the incredibly motivating, supportive, and wonderful people that share the workouts with me.    And then there’s Christine, Mike, Brian, and Val!  They are such an amazing team, and embody what CrossFit is all about.   I am so thankful to be part of the BCF family.
