Congratulations to our February 2025 Athlete of the Month, Linda Harries!
Where were you in your fitness journey before BSC and where are you now?
Before joining BSC my only form of exercise was running, I did zero strength training. Being of a certain age I felt I needed to change things up and get stronger, not just fitter.
What were your goals when you started, and have you achieved any of them?
My goals at the beginning was to lose weight and get stronger. In the first 3 months at BSC I lost 20 pounds by working with Dawna on my nutrition and managed to increase my muscle mass in the process.
What about BSC makes you keep coming back?
I love the atmosphere at the gym, everyone is so friendly and encouraging, and I’ve made so very good friends along the way.
When/what was your "ah ha!" moment?
I learned consistency is the key. I’ve been going to BSC for over a year and I’m stronger and fitter now in my 50’s than I’ve ever been.
Does anyone at the gym (member or trainer) inspire you and why?
I love the atmosphere at the gym, everyone is so friendly and encouraging, and I’ve made so very good friends along the way.
