Bio

I have been a meathead my entire life. I grew up playing traditional team sports and was introduced to the weightroom during his school years. As I went to undergrad and grad school I continued a fitness regimen and moved into more functional strength training. After college I began CrossFit and the introduction to the Olympic lifts and higher skill gymnastics. I moved to Beaverton in 2019 and joined BCF within two weeks (I knew where the gym was before a grocery store, so still a meathead).

I currently work too much, most of it sitting down, in a sometimes contentious environment. I use CrossFit for the mental benefits as well as the physical benefits, and occasionally will slip into class a few minutes late when a meeting runs long. . I believe in the saying “how you do one thing is how you do everything” and I believe CrossFit provides myself (and others) with lessons that are learned which help me in my personal life or at work. I love the community here at BCF and am happy to be a part of it.
